DCOTSS 2021 summer deployment begins

DCOTSS field activities begin in Salina, Kansas. One of the mains goals will be to make in-situ measurements of air plumes in the stratosphere that has been influenced by deep convection. There will be around 85 hours of total flight time distributed across flights in July and August.
